England international David Beckham has been chosen in Milan’s UEFA Cup squad to face Werder Bremen.
It looks like Beckham will be forced to return to owners Los Angeles Galaxy on March 9 when his loan spell ends.
But the former Manchester United man will have a chance to make a further impact on the Rossoneri’s season.
Despite picking up a thigh injury during last night’s derby defeat against Inter, Beckham has been selected in the squad to take on German outfit Werder Bremen on Wednesday evening.
Kaka is out of action with a foot problem, but striker Andriy Shevchenko has been included after coming through training this morning.
Milan (squad): Abbiati, Dida, Perucchini; Antonini, Bonera, Darmian, Favalli, Jankulovski, Kaladze, Maldini, Senderos, Zambrotta; Ambrosini, Beckham, Flamini, Pirlo, Seedorf; Inzaghi, Pato, Ronaldinho, Shevchenko.
